The municipality of Cette-Eygun is made up of two villages. The village of Eygun is next to the RN 134 and the village of Cette (a geological route) is on the slopes of a mountain and enjoys spectacular panoramic views from the Anie Peak to Spain. Eygun was built around its fountain (mineral waters). The church of St Bartholomew dates from the 19th century, except for the altar (17th century). Next to the church there is a 12th-century fortified house with staircase. Later construction work modified its appearance and there is the carved face of a woman in the portico. The church of St Peter in Cette is the only Romanesque church in the valley and was built in the second half of the 12th century. At the other end of the village there is a restored fortified house which has been turned into a hotel-restaurant and also the Castle of Arance.
